CALL FOR 2026 AWARD NOMINATIONS!
Each year, the Chamber recognizes businesses for their contribution to our community. Chamber Members are invited to nominate a business of their choice for the awards listed below. After the nominations are submitted, the Chamber Board of Directors will choose the final recipients. Awards will be presented at the Membership Annual Gathering.
Your award nominations must be detailed. Use the enclosed forms or follow the link provided. Awards cannot be awarded twice. See the list of past recipients under each award category.

BUSINESS APPRECIATION AWARD
Business Appreciation Award – Chosen by the Chamber Board of Directors from nominations submitted.The business must be established, demonstrate the following qualities and be a Chamber member:
- Outstanding service
- Community investment
- Employment opportunity
- Volunteer service/monetary donations to the Greater Lowell Community
MOST PROMISING NEW BUSINESS
Most Promising New Business – Chosen by Chamber Board of Directors from nominations submitted. The business must demonstrate the following qualities and be a Chamber member:- Business must demonstrate the ability to improve the economic base within the Greater Lowell Community
- New business or a new venture of an existing business within the Greater Lowell Community
PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD
Person of the Year Award – Chosen by the Selection Committee consisting of the last 5 award recipients from nominations submitted:
- Over time, the candidate has freely donated considerable time to the community, school district, church, or humanity. This is over and above the demands of their regular profession
- The community is a better place in which to live because of the efforts of the candidate
- The candidate positively promotes the community in both word and action
- The candidate possesses new and innovative ideas that benefit the community
- The candidate cannot be a Chamber Board/Foundation Board member at the time of nomination
