Chancel Choir Accompanist and Part-time Worship Organist/Pianist
Lowell United Methodist Church (Lowell UMC) is currently looking for a person to complete the following:
- accompany our Chancel Choir during rehearsals (once weekly, September-May)
- accompany the chancel choir during worship services (2-3 times per month, Sept.-May);
- appropriately prepare for all responsibilities;
- on days the choir shares in worship, prepare all music and play the organ and piano during our morning Traditional Worship service;
- prepare all music and fill in during Traditional Worship services on days when Worship Organist/Pianist is gone or agreed-upon special services;
- depending on responsibilities within a two-week pay period, hours for this position would be approximately 4 hours (Chancel Choir)* and 3 hours (Traditional Worship Service)**. These hours could vary according to weekly responsibilities.
**1 Sunday Traditional Worship @1 ½ hrs. each = 1 ½ hours
