The Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to a Lunch-n-Learn presentation on Michigan’s New Paid Sick Leave and Minimum Wage Laws.

Beginning February 21, 2025, businesses of all sizes will be required to comply with two new laws that provide paid sick leave and increased minimum wages to all employees. Whether you have one employee or 50, we want you to be aware of the changes and steps you must take to be compliant with the law. Join us for this informative session to better understand:
 

• Key changes to the law and who it impacts, including part-time and seasonal employees
• Paid sick leave obligations for businesses of all sizes and employer types (nonprofit, LLC, etc.)
• Phase-in of increased minimum wages
• Elimination of the tip credit
• Steps you can take to ensure your business is compliant with the law
